The proposed learning approach is based on a play-centred, discovery learning concept where children learn through interactions with objects and environment. We balance academic content in literacy, numeracy, and science with practical on- the-job learning to foster positive attitude towards learning that is fun. Here children explore, manipulate objects, observe and question thus creating a base for schooling that they are bound to encounter in the future.
We are committed to the idea of raising hearts as well as minds. In a number of ways, children get familiar and integrated with the world of emotions and social relations while practicing and learning how to express themselves and share, as well as listen and help. The kind of friendships that are fostered in our programs are probably some of the enduring friendships that you are ever likely to encounter.
During such activities as music and art and craft, we allow the child to be who they are and do what they love. Children are allowed to express themselves anywhere they can let their creativity flow: paint, sing, draw, etc, with no restrictions. It ensures that they have a well-established identity hence enhancing creativity before they go for the joy of making something new.
We further get every chance to learn from nature as nature is one of the best teachers we have. The kind of activities that children engage in outside our classroom afford them lots of chances to improve their motor coordination, think critically, and make friends. We discovered plants and animals on this trip and played group games that help build independence, tenacity, and appreciation of nature.
